Training Days
NAPA Organised Training Days 2010
Training Days have been a key element of NAPA's work since its inception. We aim to bring together like minded people each time for a day of presentations and workshop style training sessions. One of the greatest benefits is the opportunity to network and share skills and ideas with each other. Activity organisers can feel isolated at work if they are perceived to be outside of the care delivery team. Meeting people with similar issues can help resolve some of these problems and aids retention in post. We aim to keep costs to a minimum to enable as many people as possible to come along to the trainings.
In 2010 we will be running training days all over the country.
The topic, location dates and venue will be decided by you!
In the past we have tried to “guess” where training days will be well supported, sometimes we have been very good at guessing, other times we have not. As you know NAPA is a small charity and we need to ‘break even’ on all of our training activities as we don’t have the surplus funds to subsidise courses.
While we appreciate that you would like training in your local town in reality training all our members in their own towns is not possible! So this year we will compile a list of everyone who would like training and then once 12 people in one area have been identified we will liaise with those people and arrange the training day.
Training days are open to all. The fees for the NAPA training days are:
NAPA members: £60.00 per person. Non members: £90.00 per person.
Please send your forms in as soon as possible so we can start organising the training for this year.
